Day 328 – “Everyone must take time to sit and watch the leaves turn.” – Elizabeth Lawrence. We’ve been so busy lately that we have hardly had time for that, but perhaps sometime soon, before all the leaves fall, we can walk through the woods one more time.
Day 319 – This crazy spiral was captured off my Ipad while watching a video today. Photographs are everywhere!
Day 293 – I love orchids for their exotic beauty. They symbolize strength, innocence, beauty, refinement, love and thoughtfulness. They are the most handsome and interesting flowers I have ever seen.
Day 238 – We finally got a bit of much needed rain today.
Day 189 – I saw these three daisies together and they reminded me of my mother and her two sisters.
Day 181 – Happy Mother’s Day!
Day 179 – These irises come from a plant that has followed me from house to house since I was a child.
Day 158 – I have had the U2 song, “Lemon” stuck in my head all week. So I thought this would be a fun way to play with it.
Day 154 – After a couple of black and white photos I thought I’d bring back a little color and fun.
Day 150 – I love these daisies with the purple and yellow centers. They are all in full bloom at the Lincoln Park Conservatory. It’s a wonderful place to visit (and it’s free). There are rooms for ferns, orchids, garden plants and palms.
