Deep Purple
Day 182 – These deep purple irises are blooming in the garden now. Their petals are so vibrant that they look like purple velvet.
After the Storm
Day 174 – We ran outside today between the storms to get some pictures of the raindrops on the garden.
Purple Iris
Day 165 – Despite the recent frost, the first purple iris has begun blooming.
Crazy About Daisy
Day 150 – I love these daisies with the purple and yellow centers. They are all in full bloom at the Lincoln Park Conservatory. It’s a wonderful place to visit (and it’s free). There are rooms for ferns, orchids, garden plants and palms.
Smell-o-vision
Day 147 – The lilac bush is blooming and it smells so sweet. I wish we had smell-o-vision.
