Day 350 – I took a few days off the photo blog because we had some family visiting. It was great to see them and while we were out exploring the garden, my mother-in-law and I found some carrots that were ready to be picked. We all enjoyed them and now I am super excited to get the garden planted.
Day 257 – The last of the black-eyed susans in the garden. The garden continues despite this hot, dry summer.
Day 244 – Red tiger lily in full bloom despite this hot and dry summer.
Day 229 – I really like the way the ladder is reflected in the water.
Day 189 – I saw these three daisies together and they reminded me of my mother and her two sisters.
Day 182 – These deep purple irises are blooming in the garden now. Their petals are so vibrant that they look like purple velvet.
Day 181 – Happy Mother’s Day!
Day 175 – The daisies are getting ready to bloom. Don’t be shy ladies!
Day 174 – We ran outside today between the storms to get some pictures of the raindrops on the garden.
Day 165 – Despite the recent frost, the first purple iris has begun blooming.
