Day 281 – My hubby’s new toy is the Sony DSC RX-100. This pocket camera is amazing and with its one inch sensor, it’s a real game changer. Check out his website – www.binarycafe.com and look for his DVD review and tutorial coming out soon.
Day 279 – Michael made me laugh with some shadow puppets so I thought this would make a great photo for this evening. Little did I know how challenging it would be to set up the camera, hold the flash light, make a shadow puppet and take a picture all at the same time.
Day 276 – My son plays an online game called “Slender Man”, where a creepy guy follows you around while you search for notes. It’s dark and spooky and always ends with a scream. Recently, we saw this row of port-a-johns and he said that it reminded him of the game. So I played around with the lighting to get closer to the look of the game.
Day 274 – 42 – The answer to Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe and Everything.

Day 272 – What do you want to be when you grow up?
Day 271 – What makes my photographs “art” or “hobby”? If I enjoy the process, is it a hobby? If I struggle, is it art? Am I the one who decides? Or is it the viewer?
Day 269 – Ralph Waldo Emerson tells us to finish each day and be done with it. Tomorrow is a new day and you will not be encumbered with your old nonsense. To grow wiser each day is a special duty and a gift for all of us. I thought I would try a little hdr on this beautiful sunset as the perfect way to end my day.
