Day 38 – My son and I ventured out to find a cemetery just outside of town that is rumored to be haunted. It was small and many of the headstones were old and fallen over from age or vandalism. There was one lone flag marking one of the few newer graves there. We took a moment to be thankful for our freedom. Gone but not forgotten.

Day 36 – Just a few flakes today, but I am ready to light a fire in the fireplace, pour a Bailey’s and snuggle under a warm blanket. Winter has its pleasures.

Day 35 – Smile! Pareidolia is the erroneous or fanciful perception of a pattern or meaning in something that is actually ambiguous or random.

Day 34 – As autumn winds down and winter approaches my thoughts turn to sunny days on the beach. These shells have been collected over many years from many different places.
