Day 294 – Celebrating our son’s birthday a few days early with family. Since he does such a good Bane impression, we thought this would be a good quote for his cake.
Day 289 – Happy Labor Day! Summer takes its bow and Autumn is soon upon us. A BBQ was a perfect way to spend this day, thankful for the work we love and the rest we relish.
Day 283 – Anthrocyanosides are the wonderful chemicals in blueberries that help lower cholesterol and improve brain function. We have blueberries everyday in our morning smoothies. And they are my favorite blue food!
Day 270 – I love to eat. My whole family loves to eat. And we always enjoy the fresh, deep fried Wisconsin cheese at the County Fair. So, in honor of Julia Child’s 100th birthday, I am posting this photo. I wouldn’t recommend eating fried cheese every day. But once a year…. mmmmmm. Yum!
Day 207 – The pear tree is bearing fruit. I just hope we get to the pears before the bees do. Last year we lost the entire crop to some very hungry wasps.
Day 191 – So here’s what I ate today. Breakfast – cottage cheese and berries, Lunch – veggie/rice soup and rice cake, Dinner – Salad and a section of leftover quesadilla.
