Day 47 – Sunday in our house goes something like this – eat some Five Guys burgers and fries, take a nap, watch some football, take another nap, raid the pantry for snacks, more football and napping. Life is good.

Day 42 – A few years ago I took a group of students to our town’s free graffiti wall for a yearbook project. I went by there today to check it out. The wall continues to display expressions of all sorts. That’s why art is so important. We all so plugged in but what we really need is an outlet.
Day 38 – My son and I ventured out to find a cemetery just outside of town that is rumored to be haunted. It was small and many of the headstones were old and fallen over from age or vandalism. There was one lone flag marking one of the few newer graves there. We took a moment to be thankful for our freedom. Gone but not forgotten.
